TLDR : Answer Summary
The minimum income requirement for a 1-year marriage extension in Thailand is 40,000 THB per month if married to a Thai spouse, or alternatively, you can meet the requirement by having a bank balance of 400,000 THB for at least 2 months.

Minimum 40,000bt per month or 400,000bt banked for 2 months for a 1 year extention of stay based on marriage
For married to a Thai, for 1 year extension, min 40K deposit per month is required.
Can this transfer come from another Thailand bank account of a different person or it should be from overseas .
And, how about when applying for the 1 yr marriage extension the first time, should this transfer be done every month for 12 months before applying ?

Yash Arora if you monthly income of 40kthb+ is within Thailand than you need to show your tax payments, in any event each immigration office may have different requirements, so it's worth checking with them.
The 40k doesnt need to come from overseas(you can use salary earned in Thailand). Im not sure about the previous 12 months, ive not personally used the 40k method.
