Are you doing it based on marriage in Bangkok? Then you can use the 40,000 monthly transfers even if your embassy does not certify it. You'll need to go to your bank and get them to issue "credit advice" statements for each transfer you wish to use. That's the proof immigration division 1 accepts when your embassy will no longer certify it.

The US embassy will no longer give out certified documentation of one’s finances any more. You are best talking to a visa agent.

I don't believe you can get a letter from the US Embassy certifying income these days. I have had both Marriage and Retirement Visa extenions. The Marriage Visa took 3 vistits to immigration. The Retirement Visa took one visit. If you don't have the income use an Agent. I highly reccomened Mots.

If you are considering Obtaining a marriage visa it is possibly the hardest visa to get

You will have many trips to immigration for various documents etc. They intentionally make it difficult for some reason

Go to Pattaya and consult a visa agent and get them to organize a suitable visa for you

 yes I've know it's not as much if you have a thai wife. The Thai government understands that you have to have less income because her and her family will spend most of it .5555

 up to you if you spend your money on your wife's family. But that would be kind of stupid wouldn't it? My wife's family don't expect money from me and don't ask for anything. Many are like that so you are wrong in presuming what you do.

In case of having any other income from abroad such as pensionLetter from the applicant’s Embassy in Bangkok verified his monthly pension or other income not less than 40,000 baht

 that only applies to the initial application. For yearly extensions 12 months of direct deposits of bt40,000+ a month from an overseas source also works, as I've been doing for the last 7 years.

You probably had something wrong. Might not have the 40K certified by your embassy in Bangkok. Many countries not provide income certificates anymore and then its 400k on the bank only.

 have you or someone done it this way and how long ago. Not once did the immiration officer asked me for proof of income and believe me we tried. He said the only way forward is to open a bank account. And that was also not easy the bank didn't want to know how much money I had, they wanted authenticated marriage certificate, and had to submit that by local Amphoe aswell and get a document from them as well to show to the bank. Only then did they give me a bank account. So from my perspective it has nothing to do with proof of income.

Did you have a verified income statement from your embassy in Bangkok? Which immigration is not accepting this statement. Yes i know a few friends use this way yearly . Their embassy provides a verified income statement. And the immigration is Bangkok and Chiang Mai

 I've done it. Had enough income to show. The only thing that worked was 400k in Thai bank your foreign income does not get looked at.
