Can my Filipino girlfriend visit me in Chiang Mai after her quarantine in Bangkok and will she need to quarantine again upon returning to the Philippines?

My girlfriend intends to come to Thailand on visa on arrival  she is Filipino. I have 2 questions, after her quarantine period is finished ln Bangkok is she free to visit me in Chiang Mai? And next question, after quarantine in Thailand , will she have to quarantine again  when she returns to Philippines?

The 14 days in quarantine, is actually 16 days, or 15 nights if you like.  You will be able to leave ASQ on day 16.  And yes, there is quarantine also in PH.

I’m from the Philippines. Yes she needs to be quarantine coming to Thailand and coming back to the Philippines won’t be that much hassle as a Philippine Citizen she just need to get test upon arrival in in The Philippines it only takes 2 days if negative they will let you go home and continue quarantine home.

She should get a proper STV from RTE Manila and if she will go back to the Philippines, she will be quarantined in Manila for how many days until she will get her rt-PCR negative result.

Those from the Philippines quality for visa exempt with 30 days on entry (possibly 45 now with the recent proposed extension). Visa on arrival is a different form of entry - yes, VOA is not currently available but that doesn't apply here.

As others have noted, she'll then have to do 14-days "home quarantine" (the official term used in English) upon traveling to Chiang Mai.
