I live in Hua Hin and have a 1 year Non-O extension which is guilty to 31th of August 2025. I think it is possible to get a new 1 year extension 45 days before this date. That means I get a new extension 18th of July 2025.
But now I wonder if the new extension will be guilty to 18th of July 2026 or 31th of August 2026. Is there anyone who know this for sure ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about applying for a new 1-year Non-O visa extension in Hua Hin 45 days before the current extension expires. They seek clarification on whether the new extension will be valid until July 18, 2026, or August 31, 2026. Comments suggest that the new extension's end date will typically match the original expiration date, meaning it would expire on August 31, 2026, if the same extension reason is applied for. Additionally, it's noted that funding requirements should be met two months prior to the application, and there may be specific local rules regarding the timing of the extension application.

As long as you apply for an extension for the same reason, it will be "added" to the current extension regardless of when you apply. It will be the same "until" date every year.
But,
If you apply for a different reason for Non-O based extension (for example, you apply for a new extension for retirement when you are on an extension for marriage to a Thai), it will be start on the day of application.

To add, you need to make sure your funds are back up to 800k 2 months before the date you apply, not the date the extension runs out.

I am not sure that Hua Hin allows extensions 45 days or less before your current stamp runs out, and think they may be 30 days or less (someone from down there will weigh in though I'm sure ๐ )
BUT
Even if you applied for the extension the earliest you could do it, the new year extension will be added to your current expiration date.
You don't 'lose time' because you applied early
