I live in Hua Hin and have a 1 year Non-O extension which is guilty to 31th of August 2025. I think it is possible to get a new 1 year extension 45 days before this date. That means I get a new extension 18th of July 2025.
But now I wonder if the new extension will be guilty to 18th of July 2026 or 31th of August 2026. Is there anyone who know this for sure ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the expiration date of a new 1-year Non-O visa extension when applied 45 days prior to the current expiration date of their visa. Responses indicate that regardless of early application, the new extension's expiration date will align with the current expiration date, ensuring that no time is lost. However, there are reminders regarding local rules for applying within specific timelines and maintaining the necessary funds for visa requirements.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
Go to the Retirement Visa Section for information on requirements, including age restrictions, financial requirements, and necessary documentation.
For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.
Explore recent discussions by using the Non-O Retirement Visa tag in the search box at the top of the page.
As long as you apply for an extension for the same reason, it will be "added" to the current extension regardless of when you apply. It will be the same "until" date every year.
But,
If you apply for a different reason for Non-O based extension (for example, you apply for a new extension for retirement when you are on an extension for marriage to a Thai), it will be start on the day of application.

To add, you need to make sure your funds are back up to 800k 2 months before the date you apply, not the date the extension runs out.

I am not sure that Hua Hin allows extensions 45 days or less before your current stamp runs out, and think they may be 30 days or less (someone from down there will weigh in though I'm sure π )
BUT
Even if you applied for the extension the earliest you could do it, the new year extension will be added to your current expiration date.
sorry all I read was the comment by Paul Garnett when he said 30 days π
I will leave it to you to (y) you should go to that office and get the most recent hand out listing the requirements AND while you're there you should ask them if it's 45 or 30 π
Sorry for the mix up and best of luck with your up coming extension π
