TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the possibility of applying for a one-year extension of their Non-O visa based on marriage to a Thai citizen, specifically if this application can be made one month before the visa expires. A commenter confirmed that it is generally acceptable to apply for the extension when there are 30 days or less remaining on the current visa, with exceptions for certain locations like Chiang Mai and Bangkok, where the limit is 45 days.

remember you'll get a 30 day under consideration stamp when you apply for the marriage extension (bangkok is 21 days) and if you need to exit during that time you need to buy a new re-entry permit good only for that 30 days AND you have to be back before that stamp runs out so you can go to the immigration office and get the year inked in
