I would like to know when I can apply for the one year extension on my new Non-O retirement visa. My 800k baht has been seasoned already for Six months so not a issue. I have been told 2 weeks before my 90 Visa expires and also 1 month before by two different IM at my Nakon Phanom office. I would like to apply as soon as possible because I need to leave Thailand 3 weeks before the visa expires.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The general consensus from commenters suggests that you can apply for a 1-year extension on your Non-O retirement visa as early as 30 days before your current visa stamp expires. Some immigration offices may accept applications up to 45 days in advance, particularly in larger cities like Chiang Mai, Bangkok, and Phuket. One user successfully applied 3 weeks before their visa expiration at the Nakon Phanom immigration office without any issues. It is advisable to confirm the exact earliest application date with your local immigration office.
