Good afternoon, Last week I go my Non-O visa based on Married to Thai. The Entry Stamp is dated 3 Mar - 1 May.
I've looked on the [members only] for info concerning when I can apply for the 1 year visa extension but I don't see it listed. Nor do I see how many days are required to be still on the visa.
Q1 How early can I apply?
Q2 How much time before expiration?
Q2 My wife says there are many holidays in April, would you please tell me of any before the 15th?
fyi, Just noticed today that the Non-O sticker has an expiration date of 1 Jun but the Border IO stamp has an expiration date of 1 May.
I'll talk to BKK IO about that when I go in.
Thanks
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user recently obtained a Non-O visa based on marriage to a Thai citizen and is seeking information about applying for a one-year visa extension. Key questions include how early they can apply, how much time remains before expiration, and details about upcoming holidays in April that might affect their application. Responses indicate that they can apply for the extension 45 days before the current visa stamp expires, and that applications can be submitted until the last day of the stamp. Additionally, there are several holidays in April that may impact the visa office's availability.
