Hi members..

Getting bit confusing about entering Thailand from Australia..

Having an Australian Passport does this get stamped for 60 days then apply for 30 day extension.

Or do I have to apply for 60 day E Visa than than apply for another 30 day extension.

I'm planning on spending 90 days in Thailand the doing border hop Nong kai into Laos for a few days then re enter for another 60 days.. is this possible.

Thanks for information

TLDR : Answer Summary
As an Australian passport holder, you are eligible for a visa exempt entry into Thailand for 60 days, which can be extended for an additional 30 days at a local immigration office. You can spend a few days in Laos and re-enter Thailand to obtain another 60-day visa exempt entry without any issues.

At the moment you get 60 then extend 30day ..

Good luck , enjoy .

Use exemption.

You are eligible for the 60 day visa exempt entry, which can be extended by 30 days at your local immigration. No problem spending a few days in Laos and then coming back on another 60 day visa exempt entry.
