Hi, my current passport and BOI extension of stay expire on august 15th. I started the passport renewal process a bit too late and due to unusual delays, I'm not sure I will receive my new passport and have time to transfer/renew my extension of stay before some holidays abroad I wish to take around the end of June to beginning of July.
Will I have trouble embarking back to Thailand because my current passport is not valid for >6 months after arrival date, even though I will still own a valid extension of stay and re-entry permit?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about their ability to return to Thailand due to their passport and BOI extension expiring soon, questioning whether they will encounter issues given their current travel plans. A comment advises that as long as the re-entry permit is valid, entry into Thailand should not be denied, even if the passport has less than six months validity beyond the intended return date.
