What happens to my Non-Imm O Visa when I return to Thailand close to its expiry date with a single re-entry permit?

My question relates to a Non-Imm O (Thai Wife) Visa Extension and returning to Thailand with a single re-entry permit. If I return close to the expiry date of the extension, will I only be stamped in until that date, or am I given 90 days?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Upon returning to Thailand close to the expiry date of your Non-Imm O Visa extension, you will be stamped in until the same date as your current permitted stay; you will not receive an additional 90 days.

You will be stamped in with the Admitted until date which will be the same date as your current permitted up to date and the valid until date of the Re-Entry Permit.

It keeps your current stay alive, it will not give you extra days.

Thanks, I was hoping to delay the extension paperwork but no avoiding it unfortunately.

Be aware that the extension ends on the day in the stamp, if you delay and come back after that day, you must apply for a new visa.
