Is it possible to stay in Thailand for 15 months with a Non-O Multiple Entry Visa and then obtain a one-year extension via a Re-Entry Permit?

Correct me if I am wrong:

You can get up to 15 month on a Non0 Multiple Entry Visa issued in your country doing border runs every three month.

After that you can get another visa for one year through Re Entry Permit at a Thai Immigration Office showing 400k in a Thai bank account doing 90 day reports with out border runs.

Have I got this finally right???

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks confirmation on the process of obtaining a Non-O Multiple Entry Visa which allows them to stay in Thailand for up to 15 months through border runs. They also describe obtaining a one-year extension at a Thai Immigration Office by showing 400,000 baht in a Thai bank account and performing 90-day reports without additional border runs. Comments clarify the need to apply for extensions before the visa expires and detail the requirements for the one-year extension, including financial proof and the option for using an affidavit of income.

Of course don't let your non.o expire.go before final date and apply for extension of stay.

You can apply for Extension of Stay between 30 days before till the last day of your Admitted until date stamped in your passport. Going early makes it more relaxed if you missed a document, you will not loose days because the 1 year is added to your current stay.

You can apply for a year extension of stay based on marriage (which is NOT a visa) at the thai immigration office by meeting the financial requirements of banking 400K baht in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months prior to your application for the extension OR by using an affidavit of income from abroad notary letter from your consulate stating you get 40K baht a month in income. <- Once you get the yearly extension you don't need to do border-bounces, and only do 90 day reporting at the immigration office IF you're in thailand 90 days. IF you wanted to leave thailand and return you'd need to buy a re-entry permit.
