Hello, I'm about to get non o visa based marriage. As I understand I will get single entry visa and when I arrive Thailand I can make re entry visa?

After that, before the 90 days expired, I can apply for 1 year visa. The problem I only stay around 14 days every 2 Month. So how I can apply for 1 year marriage visa if I cannot wait until the visa will expire? I understand I can only go to extend around 30 the visa expired.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on how to apply for a one-year marriage visa in Thailand with a non-O visa while only residing in Thailand for 14 days every two months. They are aware of the need for a re-entry permit after entering Thailand with the single-entry non-O visa and the requirement to apply for an extension of stay within 30 days of expiration. However, they need clarification on how to manage this given their limited time in the country and the processing time for the visa extension, which takes around 30 days.

One of the issues you'll find when applying for the 12 month extension of stay based on marriage is that it goes under consideration for around 30 days so immigration can visit you and confirm your marriage is real. You can explain your situation to immigration to time the visit to suit BUT if you have to leave while its under consideration you will need a re-entry permit, and the re-entry permit is only good for the under consideration period as I understand it. You may find it a lot easier to use a retirement visa if you are eligible

You'll need to obtain a re-entry permit on your initial Non-O visa and then apply for an extension of stay on your second entry. You can submit your application for extension from 30 days prior to the due date, although some immigration offices may accept it up to 45 days in advance, and it's possible until the last day.

@Eyal ******
You can purchase a single re-entry permit at the immigration office or at the airport upon departure. The fee is 1,000 baht and you’ll get stamped back in within the validity of your stamp. (90 days).

yes it's enough. I do that in the airport? On the departure?

Also it's possible to open a bank account on that?

@Eyal ******
Yes, when departing through Suvarnabhumi Airport via Departure No. 2, proceed up the escalator, pass through security, and the re-entry desk will be located in the corner in front of the immigration counters. It is possible to attempt to open a bank account with a residence certificate issued by immigration; however, multiple branch visits may be required.

look on the Thai eVisa website. Multiple entry Non O based on marriage no longer available.

Thailand Visa Options: Thai e-Visa & Non-Immigrant Visa ...

To obtain long-term residence in Thailand as the spouse of a Thai national, you must first apply for a 90-day Non-Immigrant O visa from a Thai embassy or consulate outside Thailand, then extend this visa to a 1-year marriage visa at a local immigration office in Thailand. For multiple entries into Thailand during the 1-year period, you will need to apply for a separate Multiple Re-entry Permit at an immigration office in Thailand after your 1-year extension is granted.
