Hey all. Some advice please. We are due to renew our OA visas soon but our landlord has been the absolute worst ever (he’s a foreigner, not Thai). Having been a landlord before, I just have never experienced anything like this.
We are having a dispute over things so we fear he will not give us the residential form (I think it’s a TM6 or something like that) that we need to renew our visas. Is there another way around this? It’s not an option to move at this moment. I would be so grateful for any help. Hoping 2022 will be much better than 2021. 🌸
Wishing all of you good health, happiness and loads of abundance. ☺️
TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat is facing issues with renewing their OA visa due to difficulties with their landlord, who is supposed to provide necessary documentation (TM30 form). The landlord's refusal may hinder the renewal process. Community advice suggests that the TM30 can be self-filed under certain conditions, particularly in Phuket, where specific documents are needed. There's also clarification around insurance requirements related to visa extensions. The conversation highlights the importance of understanding landlord obligations in supporting immigration needs.
