Hello, I just returned to Thailand yesterday using a re-entry permit on my retirement visa. Is there anything I need to do at immigration? My current address remains the same and my next 90 day report is due the end of September.

TLDR : Answer Summary
After returning to Thailand using a re-entry permit on your retirement visa, you typically do not need to do anything specific at immigration if your address remains the same. However, some offices may require a new TM30 form to be filed, which is a notification of a foreigner's residence. It’s advisable to confirm with your local immigration office regarding this requirement. Additionally, your 90-day reporting period resets upon re-entry, meaning your next report will be due 89 days from your return date, not at the end of September as previously thought.

Even though I’m in CM I’m afraid I don’t know the current policy. But the owner of my apartment files a TM30 every time I come back from anywhere. It’s free, takes her about 2 minutes, and doesn’t hurt even if not required.
Some offices require you to file a new TM30 <-notification of foreigner in residence form but some don't so you'll have to check with your office on that one
AND
your next 90 day report is most definitely NOT due end of Sept 😮
When you re-enter the country the 90 day count down clock starts over and your next 90 day report is due 89 days from the date you stamped back in <- meaning if you stamped in yesterday your next 90 day report is due Nov 27th
the important thing with Chiang Mai immigration seems to be to make an appearance in person and affirm nothing about your previous TM30 has changed and they normally choose to issue a new one on the spot
Chiang Mai immigration office stopped requiring filing a new TM30 on arrival, if your address has remained unchanged. I arrived 2 weeks ago and asked the question.
