ORIGINAL POSTER
I'm on a retirement one year visa valid until August 2019 with a registered address in Trat immigration. Will fly home mid of December and return end of January 2019. As I'm planning to fly directly from Bangkok to Chang Mai when coming back for one week and then move to my registered address in Trat area do I have to go to the immigration office for a TM 30 or can I just return to my home and make the 90 reporting? Thank you in advance for your advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the need to report their stay in Chiang Mai after returning to Thailand on a retirement visa, and whether they should go to the immigration office for a TM30 or if they can simply make their 90-day report later.

It all depends on how Trat Immigration office is enforcing the rules.
