I have a spouse visa and have just re entered Thailand with a re entry permit.
When i report to my local immigration office do I need to fill in a form to notify my address? It's the same address for the past 10 years.

TLDR : Answer Summary
After re-entering Thailand with a spouse visa and a re-entry permit, it is advisable to notify your local immigration office of your address, even if it has remained the same for the past 10 years. Many expats have mentioned the importance of filling out the TM-30 form for address notification, especially in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, where enforcement of this regulation has varied. Some commenters noted that while they have not had to fill out a new form each time, they recommend doing so to avoid fines, as it can be checked during extensions or other immigration dealings.

Chiang Mai requires me to file a TM-30 this year when staying at our Chiang Mai home. I believe that the regulation was in effect before but not enforced. It may or may not be enforced in other jurisdictions. I paid Baht 1600 last February for not filing one. I was at Immigration for an extension and the officer asked me and I believe then checked. He mentioned that had I not needed an extension no one would have known that I didn't file one and that I wouldn't have been fined. Because I filed for an extension he found out and said in Thai to my wife that he apologized but that he had to fine us since he knew that I didn't file the TM-30. I now file within 48 hrs.

you should have a receipt from the last time you did it. just tell them you left and came back, they will look up your house owners name, and they will see your name there and give you a new receipt. i never fill out a new form when i do it
