TLDR : Answer Summary
Currently, the Visa on Arrival (VOA) for eligible countries is limited to 15 days and does not have any extension options. Previously during the COVID-19 pandemic, it was temporarily extended to 30 days, but this has reverted to the standard 15 days as pandemic restrictions have ended. Some users mentioned that after an initial stay, there may be options for a 30-day extension at immigration, but this does not apply to the VOA itself.

Visa on arrival, for those countries eligible for it, it is 15 days only now, and no extensions. During covid it was extended to 30 days simply because visitors were required to spend 15 days in quarantine. Now that covid restrictions ended the actual VOA went back to 15 days, with no extensions.

Yes, many countries have reciprocal agreements with Thailand so that entries to each other's countries are of similar duration

If i apply for 60 days TR visa, do i need to have $700 maintained for 6 months as last month my bank balance was around $100? So, even if i apply, would there be chances of rejection?

But, my bank balance was less than $700 for last 2 months, so are there still chances of rejection now? I have more than $700 bank balance now, though.
