Hi need some advice please.

If I enter Thailand with visa on arrival for Phuket sandbox, does that mean that I can only stay in Thailand for 15 days(7 days in Phuket)?

I want to stay for more than one month, is there any possibility to extend my visa on arrival?

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you enter Thailand with a Visa on Arrival (VOA) for the Phuket Sandbox, your stay is typically limited to 15 days, which includes 7 days in Phuket. Extension options are limited; the main choices include applying for an extension based on tourism or citing COVID-related travel difficulties, but these are often not guaranteed. For stays longer than one month, it is recommended to obtain a Single Entry Tourist Visa before flying to Thailand.

Buy a 60 day visa before coming.

I stay in the UK as a tourist, I cannot apply for Thai tourist visa here if I don’t have residency.

Suggest you read this post from a Romanian who entered VOA 14 days and today denied any extension of stay and given 7 days to depart Thailand...

I'm guessing that Romania will easily let you in if you are Romanian and this could be the reason for rejection of the Thai covid extension. And that may also be why Chinese people seem to be getting the covid extension more easily. China makes it difficult also for chinese to go back.

Romanian passport holders are only allowed 14 day stay as Visa on Arrival. VOA. No extensions are allowed. But he tried and found out that its max 14 days and depart. Was given 7 days extension to depart. Thats absolute when stamped in the passport. He must leave within 7 days or be on OVERSTAY.

Unfortunately, as you are on VOA now, your only choices are,

to apply for an extension based on a tourism purpose and get a 7days to leave stamp or

to try applying for an extension based on being unable to travel due to Covid situation on or before 25 Jan..

15days includes your ASQ/Sandbox stay.

If you want to stay longer, you definitely need to apply for and get a Single Entry Tourist Visa in advance you fly into Thailand.
