TLDR : Answer Summary
No, the 15-day Visa on Arrival (VOA) in Thailand is not extendable. Although visitors can receive a '7 days to leave' stamp if they overstayed, the VOA itself does not permit extensions. Instead, travelers who arrive under other visa types, such as visa-exempt or tourist visas, can apply for an extension.

Oh I did 5 hours ago. Fully legit. Because you don't speak Italian, it doesn't mean he has a fake profile

You get 30 days on arrival visa exempt . This can be extended a further 30 days.

Only for Visa Exempt entries. Visa on Arrival is 15 days and costs 2k.

you seem to be an Italian citizen, and I am just LOUDLY wondering if MAYBE you made a mistake at the airport, you went to the VOA counter and bought a 15-days visa-on-arrival for 2000.- THB, and entered Thailand with it. Actually, Italian passports will receive a 30 days stay permit when entering without a visa

If from Holland have 30 day on arrival or not?

@Gezinus ****************
not "on arrival". When from Holland, you will not receive a visa at all. You will enter "visa-exempt" and get stamped in for a 30 days "admitted stay"

So I can fly there and get a 30 day stamp?

yes you can, but be aware the Airline upon check-in can ask you for a proof of onward travel out of Thailand within these 30 days you will get stamped in. You either must have a return ticket within this 30 days period, or buy a cheap one-way ticket, like Bangkok to Siem Reap

you can get 1 extension yes. But if your airline wants to see a ticket it will need to be within 30 days. The extension means nothing to them.

that's exactly what I am saying. You can do a change of visa type on a visa exempt or a tourist visa. But NOT on a VOA . . . Are you not capable of reading?

and you do NOT have a 12-month visa. There is nothing such. You received a "1-year Extension of Stay Permit". You are in Thailand on a "stay permit", not on a "visa". Check the stamp you got, what does it say? It says "extension of stay permitted until" and a date

NO, you did not. You CAN apply for the "change of visa type" with a visa-exempt or a tourist visa. But NOT with a visa-on-arrival, believe me

what about it? None of these are extensions and none of these can be applied for while you're on visa on arrival.
