you seem to be completely missing or not understanding what he said

He said charges RELATED TO WHAT HE NEEDS TO GET A THAI PASS, not the actual Thai pass. There’s a difference 🥴

no but there were hacks where spoof emails were sent out by what was trying to look as the Thai pass, also he was talking ABOUT CHARGES RELATED TO GETTING YOUR THAI PASS, which he explicitly stated such as needing to pay for PCR tests, there’s 3-4 things you need to pay for to get a Thai pass

he said pretty clearly he thinks it came from something he booked to get his Thai pass, and there have been several data hacks between the Thai pass itself, some of the hotels, as well as testing facilities

This isn’t scaring gullible people, it’s good to be aware of any risks.

Where there’s often a time constraint and limitation having direct communication with your hotel instead of a third party can be beneficial at times, I did direct last year with no issue.

plenty of them do put people under consideration, and I would bet if they offered an extra 1100 for a same day stamp instead of going back in 2 weeks quite a few people would be more then happy to pay. Just because they CAN doesn’t mean much at the end of the day 🤷‍♂️

@Steve ******
I went in for a regular 30 extension and got 60 days and didn’t have to go back 15 days later for a stamp.

Not exactly what I would call being ripped off, just an opportunistic IO

@Maxime ********
I went today because it doesn’t matter if I lose a couple days, I got a “under consideration” stamp and told to come back on the 26th for my extension stamp

my extension expires the 11th, I went on the 9th. They told me to come back on the 26.

So it doesn’t look like it’s starting from the day I applied but they are giving me the last couple days

that’s why I’m posting about getting charged the proper amount and where, as klaus said last year I paid 3000 and got it the same day, but I went for a 30 day regular extension and they offered me the Covid extension and I knew nothing about it or how much it was supposed to be so I paid the 3000.
