Hi all, I have a condo in Bkk where my son and his Thai wife live and I wish to go visit them with my wife on a special tourist visa for 90 days in December. Do I need to book (and pay) for the flight, insurance and quarantine hotel before applying for the visa and the coe/pass? I have started applying for this visa online. I have come unstuck on certain things - it asks 'Applicant's spouse (no age specific) or children (age under 20 years old)' and says to drag and drop file or browse from computer? What do they want me to upload? I have tried uploading a page of my spouses passport but it won't let me? I have uploaded my condo ownership document as the proof of my stay during the '90 days' and also for the 'after 14 days quarantine". I have used bank account as proof of residency where I am applying from. If anyone has recently been through this process and successfully had their visa approved (and their coe) - would like some help. Thanks in advance.

@Kathy ***************
Can you stay 10 nights in them???
Michael ********
@Peter *******
no SHA plus is only for sandbox and the one night option for the vaccinated.

For the 10 day quarantine you need an ASQ hotel

@David ******
yes they are all inclusive...see this example
James ********
And if fully vaccinated you must stay one night on arrival into Bangkok at approved hotel with all inclusive package of services...

Such as this one

And be sure you follow the entry process....

Why use the STV visa ?

Are you only staying 90 days ?

The tourist is much easier to get , cheaper too and gets you max of 90 days stay 60+30=90

I thought they had changed the rules on that - I'm not sure if the same information required is needed for that visa too, if not then yes that would be a much easier option

ok - I've only ever done visa runs over there which now is obviously not an option, so I'm just trying to find the easiest way - although I was going for the STV in case we decided to stay longer

TV is so much easier to do. Easy choice if you want to stay 90 days. Im in the process of doing the STV, its a pain.
