A bit of a gray area here as different provinces have their own thoughts on it. No form filling required but best to update, as IO calls it, within 24 hrs of returning to your abode once you have registered that you were out of your province. Failing which you may incur a fine when doing the 90 day report depending on the flavour of the day.
