my non B expired and went to tourist visa. The intent was to get a new non B but we didn't want to travel due to CV. I have a business in Thailand, and letter from my embassy, but Immigration said no no no must go home, to yes yes yes, to wait and see. That was before this latest announcement. It was about the tourist visa, not doing the right thing and owning a business.

The other day, they were not sure.

I actually want to stay until next year, and I see it as pointless sending people back, costing thousands ($10k) when I could spend that in Thailand. Also not waste time in quarantine, and the risk.

My understanding is if you want to stay longer you need to go visit soon, and depends on paperwork and reasons, but otherwise be prepared to leave by September 26th.

I was on non B which expired, and when CV started we decided to do two border runs and CV got worse. Now they say I am a tourist and must leave, even when I did the right thing for safety.

I called immigration, and spoke to another contact in immigration and was told you should go to immigration, a lot is up-to what you provide and reasons. If you don't go before 31st, then you must leave shortly after September 26, but I am sure things will be reviewed again.

Two weeks ago, I spoke to a lady at immigration, she said no no no, then in the same conversation a police who is linked to Immigration said yes yes yes. Both then said wait and see. It's frustrating.

Thailand atm need to make it easier. Free visa until 2021.

I was on Non B, but it expired and I used two cross border tourist visas, because CV hit and I wasn't prepared to go to Laos, for a new NonB, mainly because of CV.

Hope they understand.
