Jean-Jacques De Villiers I think you misunderstood Robert's post. I think he is asking are you going to come back to Thailand from Vietnam first before you go to get your new Non-B?

We send our South African teachers to Kota Baru and they don't have problems. You can even get the visa the same day if you arrive early, have the correct paperwork and request same day processing.

I actually posted a response to the Admin's post to find out how they managed to do it. It's impossible to get from International Arrivals to International Departures at KL without passing through immigration. You could probably find a maintenance door, but would get into loads of trouble if caught.

I would question how they went from international arrivals to international departures without passing through immigration. You probably could if you found a maintenance door between the two, but otherwise it is impossible to do it at KL airport.

You have to get stamped in and out from another country, else they just cancel your exit stamp. My friend has a small aircraft in Phuket and we were going to do a visa run with it to Malaysia. We were stamped out, but encountered bad weather conditions en-route and turned back. It caused a bit of an issue when we landed, but eventually they just cancelled our exit stamps and updated it on the system. We had to take a van the next day.

I think he means they had to supply their work permits along with passports as supporting documents for the Non-O application for their child. Then everything was returned after the application. The embassies in Malaysia need the originals of all the documents to be provided.
