Thanks Robert. You are right about the number of Visa exemptions but not that he has spent 10 months in Thailand this year . Will still be about 5 months though so I certainly take your point. Thanks again

November last year he was in Phil for a month and just had a couple days in CM during that time

Sorry if it wasn’t clear. He had 1 month in Thailand Feb/Mar and 1 month in June but went out and back on both trips. This time he is there on the 60day SETV and wants to have a week in Vietnam and come back for the remaining 3 weeks

If he books a hotel for 1 night and they do the TM30 is that good for the whole of his stay ?

Could he book a hotel for just 1 night then ? Also you say IF he needs TM30 to get the extension, is that not definite ?
