Accuracy of a broadly defined term, cool story bud. Could have recognized the story for what it was instead of being soccer mom about it but that cool.
I wasn't giving advice, and I'm well aware you can't get an extended visa in mae sai, you have to go to Thai consulate to do that. It's pretty obvious what I was doing, which is within the law. Some snowflakes that were triggered by a word which is still representative of it meaning wanna start shit.
I was just addressing a situation that was relative to the post for awareness. Fuckin internet warriors. Get over your egos.
Ok OK, I've only been to a few countries , but most of them call it a visa if you fly in for less than 3 months. Jesus what a bunch of maggots jumping on me for misusing a very broadly defined term. I bet you all have wonderful relationships. Fuck.
Lol it doesn't mean anything anyways. I got one before in Vientiane and flew to bkk, was held for 3 hours, told many times I had to leave. Bit after many phone calls I was allowed to fly back to cm
Lol I'm well aware, a 30 day exempt is still a visa, be it not a tradional one it's still a visa. And yes, a non exempt us still good for 60 days. You just have to check in at immigration and pay 1900b
yea but I can obviously extend 30 days and once my new ed visa is in place I'm good for another year or 2. He just took extra long (20 minutes) and grilled me about everything even tho I've played by all the rules. I feel like he was trying to make me miss my bus. I'm not overly mad but I was within all the laws and have given a lot of money to Thailand.
If this crap continues I can see a lot of us jumping ship for neighboring (friendlier) countries and taking our money with us.
I just did a visa run to make sai and the dude was a dick. Told me I only can stay 30 days bit gave a regular stamp, even after I told him my ed visa, is being processed in phuket. Lol OK bro
