thanks Graham. I'll still opt for the OA visa because I do not need to bring in 800k into Thailand and it's a 1 year multiple entry visa. As for insurance, I'm allowed to use my existing home country medical insurance. The only thing outstanding is the medical tests hence my question here. Thanks again.

you're referring specifically to the OA visa right? What about the financial aspect? The 800k or 65k for 12 months requirement?
