So now it's system overload.

The 90 day report online is fantastic. I wonder why they couldn't use something similar for TM30.

Thanks for the info, Tod.
Jaime *********
Yes, I know. The screenshot my condo owner sent was just showing me the 'waiting for approval' message.

Yes, I know my condo owner has to wait for the username and password before he can complete the TM30.

I don't know anybody who has used the online registration all the way to completing the TM30.

So, I wonder how hotels have apparently been doing it for years.
Jaime *********
Amael. Tod advised printing a screenshot. That can be used to prove you have completed the TM30. After that, you would be allowed to get your extension.

That's the theory.

Roger. Yes. Tod and Robert's advice is to screenshot the approved information page as there is no print facility on the website.

I assume this can then be verified on the system at the immigration office to prove you have done it and proceed with an extension pf stay.

Roger. We seem to be in exactly the same waiting game.

Lara, commenting above has waited 3 weeks.

If hotels use the online registration for tourists, how quickly does that work?

And how would a tourist get an extension of their 30 days or 60 days if they don't have a TM30 receipt?
Jaime *********
Roger. On the online registration site where he first registered on Wednesday. He sent me a screenshot.

We're assuming that if/when he gets another email, it will have info on the next step.

Is there a difference between a self-file at Chang Wattana by the foreigner and an online file by the house owner?
Jaime *********
Annette Dolby Yes. I know. I'm pointing out the visa type, not the country.

Maria appears to be wrong as my screenshot from Tod shows.

People do call it a retirement visa, although it is just an Over-50 visa.
Jaime *********
An old post from Tod regarding the visa type.

People do refer to the Non Imm O-A visa for over 50s as a retirement visa.
