, just a quick question😉: Are you retired or in early retirement? Then you don't have to leave the 800,000 unused in an account. Instead, you can simply provide proof of your monthly pension or early retirement benefits to the Thai authorities! Then you can still work with your 800,000 for other purposes! As I understand it, you're not allowed to touch the 800,000 at all or use it for stock trading, for example.

Options:

1) You don't have to deposit 800,000 THB into the account all at once.

2) If your statutory pension is 65,000 THB or more per month, you can provide proof of this – for example, with a pension certificate.

3) If you're missing something, you can combine both (e.g., 400,000 THB and proof of pension of 65,000 THB).

absolutely 👍. That’s what I meant by identify page. The biometric data is in/on that page. But for some reasons the “stamp” Pages (don’t know the correct term) could be also important for some immigration officials.

The Identity Page is the most important part!

Just go to your town hall and have your passport checked for validity and if in doubt, order a new one. Express passports are issued within a few days!
