well I’m one of those people now…

I’m from Ukraine, and Thailand has an official deal with my country about extending Ukrainians, but still the immigration( my local office) rejected me since cause “oh you have extended too many times “ , me like “yes, but it was Covid and it’s the war in my country, I don’t know what to do and where to go🤷‍♀️”, they like “go to Vietnam” 🙄

I mean I don’t ask even for any sympathy of my situation , but I have the right to stay here legally !

So when and where “too many times” declared ?

And how long you can stay and how many times I can cross the border.

If you would fly every week Thailand to Singapore and back ? There are billions of cases, people live life in variety of ways( especially after Covid and global crisis).

it’s kind of logical, but it’s Thailand 🇹🇭🤪 they have they own rules which are not even declared properly.

For example, the topic starter case is about visiting the country 3rd time , when (for now) you can do only twice a year ( with a land border at least ). And it’s not even declared much. I only know cause I follow carefully

I had the same problem when I was on travel to Cambodia , they did not let me in back to Thailand, saying you are not a tourist ( I have several stamps of Covid extensions).

And my local immigration also declines my extensions for now , even when I have a legal right to have it…

Need to make a long term visa, they really don’t like longstayers here without a proper visa
