We tild them they gave me the wrong type but they said it was too late to change. Our packet included all required docs for Thai marriage. We went through a lot of work changing my wife's name on all of her legal docs (bank account, driver license, ID, house book, land office for property, etc) At this point leaving money in the bank not a problem so we are going to take a break and leave it as it is. Thank you for advice.

thanks.. Actually maybe the child won't work. We have Thai birth certificates with my name as the father on each of them but my wife and I are only legally married in the USA. Perhaps retired over 50 is safer.. And yes I took your advice from my last post and opened a Thai bank account and dropped 1mil baht in it a couple of weeks ago when I was visiting a few weeks ago.
