thank you. By my contract I needed to give one month notice to quit, so even though I resigned on the 30th June, my effective date the contract ends should be July 30th, right? So what should I do now?
My flight plan was to fly out in mid July and return at the beginning of August. Now this sudden change in job status is getting me really confused.
thank you for your explanation. So here’s my situation, I’m planning to fly out on the 18th (I made a mistake on the original post), already booked a ticket two months ago as it’s a planned trip. I’m resigning on the 30th June — what’s the best course of action I should make right now if I plan to hold another job in Thailand?
sorry if this is a redundant question, if I fly out of the country, would my (1 yr extended) visa be automatically cancelled or do I need to run to immigration first, cancel it, then fly out?
We separated on pretty bitter terms so I think I'll trust only myself to cancel it I guess. Can I cancel it at any labour office, or must I go to the labour office I got my work permit to cancel it?
Thanks for the detailed information, I'm on my extension of the visa. So correct me if I'm wrong: I need to go to the office, get some paperwork, and take it to the labour department myself to cancel my work permit myself?
I was told to leave the work permit with the office staff, is he setting up a trap for me?
I’m a Brit and I leave energy saver stickers on. It’s because I’m lazy and can’t be arsed to take it off. Not like anyone will see it anyways who cares.
