For the onward ticket, is it okay if the ticket is past 60 days of the visa? Because i would be extending our stay for 30 days on top of the tourist visa.
I was the one who applied for the Ed visa. This is why i assume that they got our visas interchanged.
We did it in Vientiane.
I was told we need to re-do things in Vientiane for them to correct the visas.
But im thinking, (just like what you have said now) that maybe we can continue with this kind of visa. My kid can go to a school instead. So that we do not have to go back to Vientiane.
He is 5. I was supposed to be the one with Ed visa and him Non-O.
But the embassy got it interchanged. He got Ed, I got non-o. I didnt double check it before leaving the embassy in Laos. I thought it meant the same thing.
Maybe you can help more --- the kid already has an Ed visa, does he still need to get any special requirements (immigration stuff) or can he enroll based on what the school normally would require (i know they would ask for residence certificate).
My kid and I got our visa interchanged. So im thinking he can continue with the ed visa, im just not sure how it works for a kid.
