How about if this year he uses an agent in Bangkok to get an extension stamp at Bangkok Office? In future years, he can extend it himself in Bangkok because he now has an address and 800,000 THB in a Thai bank. He does not intend to touch it, so in 2025, when he applies for an extension, he can show that he got the stamp from the Bangkok office in 2024 and that his financial requirements are met. His financial requirement will likely have been in the bank for almost 2 years.

I see. If he applies for a non-O 90-day visa at a Thai Embassy outside Thailand, his proof of financial support must come from an outside source? Cannot use a Thai bank statement to support it?
