You can call the Los Angeles Embassy and get thru to a person pretty easily. I called a few times right at 8:58 am, hit 'zero' when I got the recording, and was able to speak to a real person. Another time while 9 I got through after the 4th or 5th try.

You are correct. The original COE i had downloaded says "no less than 7 days" while the current version says "no less than 14 days." I've already extended my ASQ, my COE has been edified in compliance with new regulation, maybe that bimbo at the embassy who told me I need a new COE is wrong! Why would I need a new one? I've already got all required documents!

Woman at embassy said I need to upload revised ALQ and obtain new COE. I've got the revised document. It was quick getting it last time (about 1 day) so I'm going to try to reapply from the beginning of the application.
