I obtained a COE from the Thai Consulate in LA back in April with 11 nights ASQ. I managed to get through to a woman at the consulate via telephone this morning and was told that I must contact the hotel to extend my ASQ for 14 nights / 15 days. My flight is May 16. I have received no email from the consulate and am assuming I must start from scratch at their website uploading all required documents once my ASQ is extended. I have yet to hear back from the hotel. I understand it was a holiday in Thailand. 14 nights / 15 days. That is what the woman said, I wrote it down. Does that sound right?
TLDR : Answer Summary
A traveler mentions obtaining a Certificate of Entry (COE) from the Thai Consulate in Los Angeles for an ASQ (Alternative State Quarantine) of 11 nights. They are told to extend it to 14 nights by contacting the hotel directly, leading to discussions about the updated rules regarding quarantine duration, which now require 14 nights. Comments clarify the situation, confirming that the traveler likely only needs to update their hotel reservation, as the COE may still be valid. It is also mentioned that the traveler should check the Thai C.O.E. website to ensure compliance with the latest regulations.
