I obtained a COE from the Thai Consulate in LA back in April with 11 nights ASQ. I managed to get through to a woman at the consulate via telephone this morning and was told that I must contact the hotel to extend my ASQ for 14 nights / 15 days. My flight is May 16. I have received no email from the consulate and am assuming I must start from scratch at their website uploading all required documents once my ASQ is extended. I have yet to hear back from the hotel. I understand it was a holiday in Thailand. 14 nights / 15 days. That is what the woman said, I wrote it down. Does that sound right?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A traveler mentions obtaining a Certificate of Entry (COE) from the Thai Consulate in Los Angeles for an ASQ (Alternative State Quarantine) of 11 nights. They are told to extend it to 14 nights by contacting the hotel directly, leading to discussions about the updated rules regarding quarantine duration, which now require 14 nights. Comments clarify the situation, confirming that the traveler likely only needs to update their hotel reservation, as the COE may still be valid. It is also mentioned that the traveler should check the Thai C.O.E. website to ensure compliance with the latest regulations.

I hope This makes it clearer

It's actually 15 nights 16 days...

If you go to the Thai C.O.E. website and reprint your authorization, it should now reflect 2 week quarantine

You are correct. The original COE i had downloaded says "no less than 7 days" while the current version says "no less than 14 days." I've already extended my ASQ, my COE has been edified in compliance with new regulation, maybe that bimbo at the embassy who told me I need a new COE is wrong! Why would I need a new one? I've already got all required documents!

Woman at embassy said I need to upload revised ALQ and obtain new COE. I've got the revised document. It was quick getting it last time (about 1 day) so I'm going to try to reapply from the beginning of the application.

You will need to stay 14 nights As everyone has said the rules have changed.
Steffen *********
Yes, right. Gouvernment changed the rules because of Covid cases.

They just changed it. Again. I’d contact them ASAP

You should call the hotel to get the room extension. Speak to the reservations manager for quick service.

Yes it’s 15 days again

That's not what other people are telling me. The woman at the embassy said I need a new CEO.
