Is a Fit-to-Fly Medical Certificate still required for entry into Thailand?

I made an appointment to obtain my covid 19 medical certificate RT PCR within 72 hours of departure at Urgent Care (California). The woman I spoke with has never heard of a "Fit-to-Fly-Medical-Certificate." Are you people sure that Thailand no longer requires this? When I call their consulate in Los Angeles and listen to a recording of requirements, this is one item on their list. Did they omit it from their official stipulation and forget to edit the recording? Where would someone in California go to obtain a "Fit-to-Fly-Medical-Certificate" if he or she so desired? If Thailand doesn't want it, maybe I should call my airlines (American Airlines / Japan Airlines) and if they don't want it either I could just flush the whole idea down the toilet.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The general consensus among travelers is that a Fit-to-Fly medical certificate is no longer required for entry into Thailand, especially after changes that took effect on May 1. Many travelers have successfully entered Thailand without this certificate, regardless of the airline. However, travelers are advised to confirm requirements directly with their airline as there may be some variations based on airline policies.

Yes no longer require.

You can check on Thai embassy web page.

As people say all depend on airlines and the staff. Officially it is not required.

Bit off-topic last year I went to India and used their E-visa which basically is like the US ESTA. However the Air India staff in SG that checked me in started to claim something was wrong... Anyways some other staff helped out after a while.

Just call the local airline office and ask them what is required for checking in. Ease your mind :)

If you really want a Fit to Fly certificate then contact Dr Donna. She needs a negative COVID test and will conduct an online consultation and issue the Certificate. All for 400 Baht.

I recently flew out of LAX Airport on May 4th with EVA Airlines. My COE was issued by Thai Embassy Los Angeles. FTF certificate was NEVER asked by the EVA Airline at departure or when I arrived in BKK. To give you peace of mind...maybe you should ask your Airline before you fly to be sure as well.
