John, I applied this way and got it.its all in the wording of the documents.

There has been other oil rig workers and miners that have also gotten the visa this way.

To put it simply I take some meetings online while in Thailand therefore ima “remote worker”

This individual could do the same.

Im not saying you are wrong or that I am correct. But it’s Thailand it’s up to the individual and the circumstances on how they interpret the visa

Sure they could try a different hospital , but apparently they are really clamping down on medical DTV…. Because they already have a medical tourist visa people are being told long term treatment plan or if they only have one or two booking they will be given a medical tourist visa 👌

DTV God when did you get your DTV ? Apparently the medical one was super relaxed early on, I heard of people getting it for dental appointments

What country you coming from ? Thai airways has a fair amount of direct flights from city’s in Europe

You will also most likely need to visit the hospital first also for a diagnosis and treatment plan 👌
