did u pay as well as some extra money (around 10k bath) to IO to extend the visa without leaving the country?

Other more civil countries extended their visa amnesty with no problems.. the message from the IM "..you have to leave the country..." totally rude given the situation we are in... the Thai economy is in free fall where the tourism is large part of that and what policymakers did kick out foreigners.. I don't know what they have in their mind.. potetos?

Ed visa may be too late to apply.. likely they are going to extend the amnesty since the emergency continues..
