a bit too pessimistic, I believe. If proper testing, contact tracing, and quarantine are observed, it can be safe. Many countries are still admitting Americans - including Thailand if they are in the accepted categories.
sure, sure. I am looking at every possibility, applying for jobs there, looking at retirement visas, keeping track of when policies change. Once we are married, I will have Thai kids, but I have to get there and get married first. I was just wondering whether mentioning that more likely gets me sympathy or antipathy.
