Hey Christina did you end up finding out any further information about a certificate of recovery? I’m due to fly on the 11th and still testing positive. I’m due to fly with emirates who said they do not accept them so I’m just wondering if you found out any airlines which do accept a certificate of recovery?
Hey Mark, this was a very easy process. I recommend printing off the form and completing it before getting to the airport and also bringing your own photo to save time. It’s cash only so make sure you have 1000 baht. The desk is after security and before passport control 😊
I just tried calling them and one line says they are closed, another is coming up as busy and the email address just returned my email enquiry as ‘undeliverable’ 🤦🏻♀️ nothing is ever easy! Will keep trying the busy phone number and if not I’ll try calling tomorrow.
An update for anyone in a similar position - I just called Emirates. They said they are not accepting the letter of recovery when transiting through Dubai 😩 so now trying to find an airline which will so I can try and sort getting back. If anyone has any experience of an airline which will accept the letter of recovery please let me know.
*Waiting it out is not an option as I am a teacher in an international school and need to be back as soon as possible to teach or my job is at risk.
