she’s doing that already with a new passport but the wait until it arrives is quite long resulting in the overstay issue. Looking like no option but to pay it, poor girl.

As far as I understand, the issue is if she gets an emergency passport to leave, she cannot enter Thailand on that passport to be in country to pick up her passport that’s already set to be handed to her in Bangkok.

thanks for the information. It's a tricky situation to say the least. Theoretically, I could remain with my current employer, change the extension of the visa to marriage based on the salary then leave the employer after the visa has been approved?

they mean 'at most'

Its 15 days before, 7 days after the 90 days date in your passyport. Send it before and some computer somewhere will say no.
