Thanks for the advice! I got back last week and indeed this is true, thankfully! No NFC ATMs would accept foreign cards, but got around this by just "tapping and forgetting" everything 🙏

What should UK citizens do if they lose their passport while living in Thailand?

I'm a UK national and lost mine Feb 2017. Had to goto Bangkok for emergency passport. Couldn't extend my 30 day stamp as only allowed 7 days extension on an emergency passport so had to go back to UK early. Devastated!
