You can get travel insurance when abroad but not sure if more expensive. Backpackers insurance is available but the options are improved if buying before leaving home.

oh such presumptions. I’ve rode plenty bikes in the past but my previous insurance quote only included a scooter to 125. I used a scooter last year but not sure on the engine size.
