Honda and Toyota is the best bet. Second hand market is way overpriced so unless you find a bargain normally from expat it might be worthwhile to buy new if you have the means.

Did you ever order stuff over phone with card details? Anyways I agree there is safer ways of doing things but they are not out to scim you. They will fleece you with other costs and fees don't worry...
