I’m pretty sure Americans need a visa because of that little thing called the Vietnam war? It’s just a guess. I’m American and applied for a visa in Vietnam, it’s not that big a deal, but it’s still a hassle because you have to wait for it to be approved

well I’m not going to argue any of your valid points here. All true, and I’ll be the first to admit I’m no expert in economics, but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know the local Thai people with their local Thai wages will eventually be priced out. I guess that’s capitalism for you.

We can support the DTV visa, while also agreeing it might end up being detrimental to the Thai people.
