Even places like Paris are tedious now with many migrant beggars etc 🫤. It’s tough to find a place to call home.

I really liked Vietnam. I was there four years. But the language is real headache

Absolutely. But we need to try and find that balance point. For me I need people to speak English, I don’t have the gifts of languages. And I want places that are interesting and entertaining. But as you highlighted some areas, like Pattaya are much worse than others. The balance has tipped too far.

I was commenting on the whole of SE Asia and most of the world in general 😊. I don’t mind so much people that are honest enough to let you know it’s all about the money.

The place I HATED the most was Marrakech. People coming on like they were friendly, offering you help and then trying to demand money.

The hookers and bar girls are generally the most honest I think. You know what they want and they ask for it. It’s the ones that pretend they are different that annoy me
