Is there a time frame to enter Thailand after my DTV is approved?

ORIGINAL POSTERHey all...quick question. Once I'm approved for my DTV, is there a time frame that I need to enter Thailand? I.e. within 4 weeks?
I assume not and the 5 years just starts? Basically, I'm going to be in Hanoi and was gonna just do it then but I probably wont be back in Thailand for a few months.

ORIGINAL POSTERWow, even a year? Awesome. Yea, I when I was in China a while ago a visa had a stipend that you needed to enter within 30 days or something like that so just wanted to make sure. Thanks for answering mate.

as long as it isn't expired you should be good. But yeah most visas you have to enter within a certain time frame.Reply to

The visa is valid as of the day it is issued, and it's valid until the expiration date on the visa. You can wait 4.5 years to enter if you want.
