TLDR : Answer Summary
The O visa is valid for 90 days and can be applied for at various Thai consulates worldwide, suitable for individuals married to a Thai national or who are volunteering, among other reasons. The O-A visa is specifically for individuals over 50 years old, grants a one-year entry, and must be applied for in the applicant's home country.

i will try to put up some differences, but both are spelled out at the website of the Thai Embassy in your home country, you can find much more details there.

The O-A visa, gives you 1 year of entry

The O visa only 90 days.

The O-A visa can only be applied for in home country

The O visa at many Thai Consulates all over the world,

The O-A visa is only for people older than 50 years of age,

The O visa is for people who are married or willing to volunteer or are depending on children, parents, husband or wife or must be in Thailand as witness or being over 50 years of age and many other reasons
