I arrived in February on a Non-B in order to get a work permit as teacher. Due to Covit I couldn’t process the documents in time and my visa expired in May. Now I stay here on the amnesty and don’t know what to do when it expires on the 26th. If I leave the country to get a new Non-B, I can’t get back in. If I stay here, I don’t have a valid visa.

Hi, I am on a Non-O based on marriage single-entry extension which expires Friday, 3rd of July.

Am I included in the amnesty until 31st of July?

If so a few days before can I get a 60 day extension before applying for another 12 months?

Thanks

My visa is due to expire on the 8th May and after closing my company and work permit expiring was going to return back to Australia for a short period and return to organise my marriage visa. Obviously not an option right now.

Do i need to cancel this current visa to be eligable for the amnesty or can i let it expire and be covered until i can return home. Have been told several different answers. Thank you for any advice.

Hi. I’m sorry if this has been asked before but I just wanted to make sure about the July 31st amnesty. I’m American. I entered Thailand on a 60 day tourist Visa. This visa expires May 4th. I did not go to get the 30 day extension. Do I need to go to get this extension or am I already covered until July now?

**ATTENTION MEMBERS:

Amnesty extended until July 31st

**

It appears the cabinet today approved a proposal to extend the amnesty until July 31st.

It was approved by the cabinet BUT not published in the royal gazette yet (the thing that makes it a law)

We don't know any more than that, and we are NOT letting people post links to other websites or f/b pages about it because they're all parroting the same stuff

As soon as we know more we'll letcha know.
